During the first week of November it snowed in the mountains. Then, the Saturday afterwards, the skies cleared and the sun came out. Tanya and I strapped on the snowshoes and went for a little hike above Les Haudères in Val d'Hérens. The snow was beautiful, especially since the larch trees were still yellow against the blue sky.
