Thesis submitted!

Time to take a breath! Last Friday I submitted by PhD thesis. The process was run with Swiss precision - six copies of the thesis were required at Academic Services by 11 am on Friday at the latest. When I arrived I saw there were stickers already printed with the addresses of the experts who will form the panel at my private defence; the thesis copies were sent out to them the same day. The title of my thesis is Variability of the raindrop size distribution across scales in Mediterranean rainfall: characterisation and stochastic simulation. The next step is the private defence in five weeks.
