Field work above Davos

Last week the EPFL LTE lab (with whom I'm doing my PhD) went to eastern Switzerland to install instruments for a campaign of field measurements which will continue through the winter. We installed our X-band weather radar and 2D-video-disdrometer in the mountains above Davos. It snowed 20 cm the day before we arrived! Here are some photos from the installation. More information on the campaign, plus webcam images from the radar site, are on the EPFL LTE website.
